California Road Sharing (CaRS) Initiative Partnerships

Purpose of this dataset is to show CA counties that are involved in the CaRS program. This dataset shows contact information and data partnership information from the CaRS initiative. The CA County Boundary file was downloaded March 2, 2026 from the CA State Geoportal (https://gis.data.ca.gov/datasets/California::california-county-boundaries-and-identifiers/about). California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) has added additional fields in the attribute table to show CA county participants for the CaRS initiative. This dataset will be updated and modified on an as needed basis.
