ECO-PTM Workshop Presentations

DWR has been working with USGS to develop ECO-PTM, an individual based juvenile salmonid migration and survival model. The Delta hydrodynamic input for the model is from a 15-minute-time-step hydrodynamic simulation, therefore the model is sensitive to tidal flows and SWP and CVP operations. The model can be used to quantitatively evaluate management actions that concern the survival of juvenile salmonid in the Sacramento River. Recently, the model has been used for the planning study of the Georgiana/Sutter-Steamboat Slough fish barriers.
