GEARS Reporting Data

This dataset consists of all groundwater extractions that were reported by well owners in GEARS using the Create New Report Using Evapotranspiration reporting method. If a groundwater extractor reported again, both versions of the reports are included in this data set. All information is self-reported by well owners, agents reporting on behalf of well owners, or GSAs reporting on behalf of well owners. This information is used by the State Water Board to issue invoices from the well owners within the probationary subbasins.

This dataset consists of the well owner names (with addresses, email addresses, and phone numbers redacted) as well as a total number of wells they added to their account and total groundwater extractions by reporting period.

This dataset consists of all parcels that the wells are supplying groundwater to (places of use) and the purpose of groundwater use.

This dataset consists of all well locations plotted by well owners in the probationary subbasins.
